Oromo militias are said to have killed at least 13 Somali Ethnic members in the East Harrarghe zone of the Oromia regional state, as reported by Addis Standard. Seven out of the 13 victims were from the same family. Sources of Addis Standard said that 20 civilians were killed in the past two incidents.
People in different parts of the Somali region took to the streets denouncing the killings. The report also highlighted that two weeks ago, 41 ethnic Oromos were killed by Somali Special Forces in Babile and its surrounding area.
