TPLF Artillery Killed Ten Family Members in Afar

Ten members of a family were killed and 13 others were injured in heavy artillery attacks by the TPLF in the Afar region, specifically in a small village called Ada, as reported by BBC Amharic. The victims included three generations of the family: five children, their mother, grandmother, uncle (mother’s brother), and aunt (father’s sister) along with her two children. The father, who lost his entire family, was left in a state of shock, as reported by BBC Amharic and Addis Standard.

According to the report, it appears that the family was fleeing from the war that had expanded from Tigray to the Afar region when they were attacked on the night of February 15, 2022. For more details, you can click here.
