The Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) killed 11 civilians and injured more than 20 in the Nechilo locality of Kiremo Woreda, as reported by Wazema. According to residents who spoke to Wazema, the attack was carried out by OLA on Thursday, February 26, 2021, around midday. The bodies were not collected until Friday afternoon, causing distress among the community. Fearing further attacks, people are fleeing their villages in search of safety.
Wazema has learned that OLA has moved to different locations following the recent military operation against them conducted by the Federal Army.
