Eleven Civilians Killed in Sitti Zone, Somali Region

At least eleven civilians were killed by Afar special forces in the Sitti zone of the Somali region, according to Mustefa Muhammed Omer, President of the Somali Region, as reported by Addis Standard.

According to the report, there has been a recurring clash between Afar and the Somali region in the recent past. The latest conflict occurred in Afdam, Ma’ayso, and Gablalu districts. Dan-la-helay village was burned to ashes in the previous conflict.”
